Species account from Moths of Glamorgan
(Gilmore, Slade & Stewart, 2009):

Flying in February and March. A species that is extremely local and of very low density. Reported from Rothamsted traps on Gower 1979 and Cardiff 1981and in the Lower Llynfi Valley between 1991-1995 but not since. Possibly under-recorded because of its early flight period.
