The Glamorgan Moth Group are a group of local moth enthusiasts devoted to the study and conservation of moths within the Vice County of Glamorgan, in south Wales.
Species account from Moths of Glamorgan (Gilmore, Slade & Stewart, 2009):
Found on exposed rocky shorelines around Gower in small numbers. A moth labelled as White-line Dart in C.H. Tait’s collection held at Swansea Museum was found to be the county’s first Square-spot Dart. The label showed that it was found at Langland in 1939. No further records appeared until SVW & SW recorded a singleton at Mayals, Swansea on 27.viii.1978. It was subsequently trapped on seven more occasions, all during August except for one on 04.ix.2001 at Cwm Ivy (VS).
