The Glamorgan Moth Group are a group of local moth enthusiasts devoted to the study and conservation of moths within the Vice County of Glamorgan, in south Wales.
Species account from Moths of Glamorgan (Gilmore, Slade & Stewart, 2009):
An upland species frequenting boggy moorland and hill slopes, flying from July to September. Documented by Hallett (c.1952) as being 'common' at Merthyr Tydfil in July 1921. There are also five specimens in NMWC labelled 'Merthyr', 2 x 11.vii.1925, 1 x 17.vii.1925 & 2 x 21.vii.1925 (GF). The only modern record is from a Rothamsted Trap at Oxwich, Gower in 1980.
