The Glamorgan Moth Group are a group of local moth enthusiasts devoted to the study and conservation of moths within the Vice County of Glamorgan, in south Wales.

Of the 45 specimens of Dark Dagger / Grey Dagger that have been determined by dissection in Glamorgan , 13 have turned out to be Dark Dagger. A further two records of larvae have also been produced. Whilst this small number of records might suggest the species is somewhat scarce, it is likely that it is a widespread and not uncommon insect, though appears less common than the Grey Dagger.
